Welcome To The Richardson-2 DNA Surname Project

It is a pleasure to extend you, our visitor, a most hearty welcome.  My name is
DeLores Collier, Group Administrator for the Richardson-2 DNA Project.

I'm a passionate advocate of Genealogical Research and the genetic science of
Y-chromosome DNA.  The Richardson-2 DNA Surname Project is near and dear
to my heart and is so named to reflect that I (like so many of my gender) am a
Richardson  too!

The RICHARDSON-2 DNA Surname Project was established to develop a global collection of RICHARDSON
family groups descendant from a common ancestor.  DNA Y-Chromosome testing provides cutting edge
technology to assist participants and researchers in identifying links and relationships to both documented
and undocumented Richardson Family ancestral lines.  Through participation, we can learn from whence
we came.

J
oining the project is easy.  You're automatically enrolled in the project when you click here  here to order
your kit.
We have chosen FT-DNA, based in Houston, TX as our testing facility.  They are not only the
pioneering lab that introduced DNA technology for genealogy, but are by and far, the industry leader.
If
you've
been tested elsewhere and want to join us, send me an email or a message from our contact page.
We will respond promptly
with simple instructions so you may be a part of the Richardson2 DNA Project.

We do not promise our current database contains a match for your Richardson lineage as each new
participant has the potential to produce a match.  Presently, we do have a high match rate and are thrilled
that we have been able to put fellow researchers in touch with each other to share and collaborate,
thereby furthering knowledge of their common family heritage.  Residency of our current membership is
literally,
global, with participants from Europe and Canada.  From these participants we have identified
ancestral lines of eight distinct Richardson families.  With the assistance our project members, we will be
adding a page providing background on these families.

Members of project will have access to the entire site which will include, among other things, our
newsletter, the chart of the testing results, contact information enabling them to share and collaborate, and
soon, a separate blog page.  After all, they paid to join the project and are entitled to enjoy the "fruits" of
our labors and the opportunity to collaborate with each other to extend their ancestral heritage.

We welcome you and invite you to browse the site. Be sure to bookmark us before you leave as we will
routinely add new elements.

Would love to hear from you, so drop me a note anytime by using the custom form found on the contact us
page.

Until then, Happy Hunting!
